I arrived at the Simi Valley meet spot with Lynn sitting behind me, there were already a dozen bikes there, and Mike and Linda, Walt and Cathy were also there to see us off before heading for one of their 30 mile HOG chapter rides.
The excitement was in the air, everyone was chatting away and had huge smiles on their faces. Steve and Linda, Mark and Bev, Craig, Ron, Maureen, Guy and Sandy, Mark, Sparky, Doug, Dennis, Bob and Dana were ready to go. Dave from the Old Road group came out to join us on the ride out to lunch.
At about 8:20, I called everyone together for a short ride meeting, since everyone had ridden together before, there wasn’t much to say except thanks for coming along! We then saddled up and pulled out of the Chevron parking lot at 8:31, (one minute behind schedule).
